Can I advertise on the WetinBe IBE player for my passengers to see?

We add your logo onto the pages and use your internet web address as the customer login. All customers see your logo and internet address when using the service. All media selection pages are colour co-ordinated to match your company colour scheme.

How does the WetinBe IBE player work?

The WetinBe IBE player is sent to you ready to plug into your vehicle plug socket and play. On powering up and with your Music and Video USB flash drive inserted, your passengers will be able to add the Wi-Fi to their devices, even if there is no internet. The WetinBe IBE player is sent to you ready to plug into your lighter socket and play. On powering up and with your music and video USB flash drive inserted, your passengers will be able to connect the WetinBe IBE player to their devices. They then use their device browser to listen to music and view videos immediately.

Do I need any additional hardware?
Yes. You will need to supply your own USB stick with your own films and music content. All of our WetinBe IBE players are completely self-operational. All you need do is add your favourite music and film media onto the USB stick you supply and they will work. To enjoy the in bus entertainment content ( internet, video and music) , passengers use their own laptop, tablet or mobile phones.

Can the WetinBe IBE player provide Internet on the bus?

Yes. The WetinBe IBE player can supply internet to your passengers. Each passenger can be allocated a set amount of bandwidth and after the passenger has exhausted their allotted bandwidth, they will only be able to access the Video and Music files on the player.

Do Transporters charge for bus Wi-Fi access?
Yes some transporters make a charge for Wi-Fi access and others offer it for free, or included in the ticket price. For transporters using the WetinBe Ticketing system the booking pages can be configured to give the passenger the choice of whether to pay an additional fee for Wi-Fi access.
Can WetinBe customise the WetinBe IBE player to transporter company requirements?

How do I install the WetinBe IBE player?
All units are pre configured for you to plug and play. Simply insert your USB with entertainment content into the device and insert the cigarette lighter plug into the socket and the player is immediately operational.
Can I transfer the WetinBe IBE player between buses?
Yes, to reduce transporters financial outlay we encourage this. All you need do is unplug the device from one bus and plug it into the next desired bus.
Do I get a warranty with the WetinBe IBE player?
Yes. WetinBe offers a one year no quibble warranty against defects in its media software and against defects in the WetinBe IBE player a one year replacement or repair warranty. This does not include accidental or water damage.
Does WetinBe IBE player work everywhere?
Yes, WetinBe IBE player works in any country so is perfect for international trips. In countries where there is no internet access WetinBe IBE player does not require internet access for customers to access your Videos and Films.
Do my passengers need credit on their devices to use the WetinBe IBE player?
No, Passengers can use the WetinBe IBE player with no credit on their devices.
What is the size of the WetinBe IBE player?
The Actual unit size is 60mm x 60mm x 20mm.
How many players do I need per bus?
Normally one player is required per bus. For optimum reception double decker buses are recommended to have two players.
What is the minimum contract on the WetinBe IBE player?
Contracts run for one year. Devices work for 1000 working hours after which a new activation code needs to be entered by the transporter.
Are there any internet charges?
The devices are stand alone, so for Video and Music on board Wi-Fi the access charges are included.
Who owns the WetinBe IBE player unit?
WetinBe owns the  WetinBe IBE player units and these are used by transporters on a rental basis. Devices must be returned at the end of the contract period. The setting up fee does not purchase the unit. WetinBe encourages transporters to purchase their own USB memory sticks.  For size purposes, an average film takes 2Gb and a song takes 500Mb. WetinBe recommends a minimum size of 32GB.
Who owns the entertainment content on the WetinBe IBE player unit?
WetinBe does not supply any video and music content on the USB. This is supplied by the owner of the WetinBe IBE player. The video and music content on the USB is not installed by WetinBe.
Is WetinBe IBE player password protected?
Yes. This is protected by a password of your choice. Your passengers use this password to access your videos and music.
How do my passenger access WetinBe IBE player?
Your passengers can access WetinBe IBE player using any installed browser on their portable devices. Passengers log into the wireless network provided by the device to surf the internet, watch films or listen to music on their browsers.
Do I have to purchase any screens or listening devices for my passengers use?
No, Your passengers enjoy your content on their mobile phone, PDA , notebook or laptop.
How do I add films, music and internet on the WetinBe IBE player?
The WetinBe IBE player unit plays music and video files installed on a transporter supplied USB or portable storage drive. The music and video files are easily copied on to the USB using a standard windows file transfer from the transporters computer directly to the USB.
You simply drag and drop video and music content onto your USB and plug the USB into the WetinBe IBE player. The media will be immediately available for streaming to your passengers. No technical engineering input is required and you have sole control over the content you show to your passengers.

There is an admin software module for transporters to customise the Passenger view screen and set the passenger terms and conditions of use and access details such as the access password.

Once the music/ video files are installed on the USB, it is simply plugged into the WetinBe IBE player and the passenger can immediately enjoy your on board entertainment content.

WetinBe provides the initial setup, configuration and offers a  training program which includes remote training of your nominated staff to:

What Operating systems can be used to upload files?
Any 'MicroSoft Windows' enabled computer can be used to copy music and video files onto the USB. It is not possible to use USB files created on Apple computers on the WetinBe IBE player.
Are some web-pages (e.g. Youtube) blocked in the coach's Wi-Fi connection?
WetinBe recommends restricting access to download and streaming sites. This ensures that equal rate of Internet access  use for all passengers, as they use the same Internet connection. Additionally sites that may cause audio or visual offence to other passengers must be banned in the terms and conditions.
How do my passenger access the WetinBe IBE player?
Your passengers can access the WetinBe IBE player using any browser on their portable devices. They log into the wireless network provided by the device watch films or listen to music on their browsers.
Do I have to purchase any screens or listening devices for my passengers use?
No. Your passenger enjoys your content on their mobile phone, PDA or laptop.
Does WetinBe train Transporters staff on setting up of the WetinBe IBE player?
Yes we always train your staff so they are full conversant and confident in the use of our products. Inclusive of the setup cost is four hours of online training for your In Bus Entertainment administrator. This training includes:

a. Setting up the WetinBe IBE player
  • Setup admin computer software
  • Explain specialist cables supplied by WetinBe
  • Linking the WetinBe IBE player to the computer
  • Setting up the IBE player so it can be programmed with Transporter data

b. Familiarisation with the back end administration software
  • Add Pass key
  • Changing password of the player
  • Customise the user screen to the transporters corporate colours and logo
